Contract Dispute Settlement

The Southern University Administration is authorized to settle or resolve any wage or contract dispute involving the Southern University System, any campus or employees thereof wherein the amount necessary to resolve the dispute is less than fifty thousand ($50,000) dollars.

The System President may concur and contribute University funds to the final resolution of any lawsuit or claim wherein the System, any campus or University employee is made a defendant when such resolution or settlement is recommended by the Office of Risk Management or the assigned attorney and the amount necessary to resolve the dispute is less than fifty thousand ($50,000) dollars.
